Sprout is your new best friend. How did you meet him?

You lose something  important to you. How do you find it again?

You find an animal in the playground at school. What happens?

There's a tree near you that grows in an unusual way. Why is that?

How did you find your magic wand?

You run through a field of jumping grass. What happens?

You have to use a faerie route to travel across the forest. What happens whilst you're inside it?

You wake up, in the middle of summer, and there is snow upon the ground. What can possibly have happened?

A faerie ring appears at the bottom of your garden.  What magical things occur?

You take a picture, but when you look at it, there's something there that you never saw in real life. How do you go about explaining it?

Find out about the different postal services available where you live and make a list of them.

Research the origins of All Hallows' Eve and make a note of anything you didn't know. Find out if there are any local traditions.

Look up all the information you can find about a local bridge and its origins and write a piece about it.

Plan a route for a walk and find out interesting facts about the places along the route. You could even persuade your family to go on the walk and act as a guide.

Find out how to recognise five different local trees. Write down all their characteristics and see if you can recognise them next time you go for a walk.

Next time someone you know is cooking a meal from scratch, ask if you can smell any herbs/spices they are using. Make a note of what they're like and when you eat the meal, see if you can recognise them. Are they different in any way?

Find out the differences between hares and rabbits and write a paragraph about each.

Next time you go to a market, look at the different stalls and see how many types there are. Are they set up in different ways, depending on what they're selling? Write a piece about which ones you find the most interesting, or a comparison of the different types.

Mark out two squares of your garden that look the same. Study them carefully and note all the differences (number of flowers/bugs/etc).

Research all the different types of lenses a camera can have and write about the effects they can achieve.
